Historic Murphy's Landing

Historic Murphy's Landing was originally established in 1969 as a living history museum depicting life in Minnesota from 1840s – 1890s. The 88-acre site resides along the Minnesota River near Shakopee and features nearly 40 19th-century structures.

Our wedding will take place at the Minnesota River overlook, adjacent to a charming town square. The center lawn features a gazebo, and the square is lined with a church, town hall, cottage, and Victorian home. A picnic pavillion, just steps from the ceremony site, will host our reception.
